How to Submit your CD Master for Duplication or Replication

CD Audio Master On a Full Budget:

For submitting your Audio CD master, we recommend that you provide us with a fully functional CD-R that has been Mastered to the Red Book Audio standards.  It is important to consider using a good mastering and post production service to create your final master.   If you are releasing a replicated CD for retail sale, you will probably want ISRC codes embedded in your CD to track your playbacks and sales and also a properly formated TOC(table of contents) to show the CD text when you put your CD in a player or computer.  These are the two biggest questions we receive about CD master, will my text show up on players and will my songs be registered in a database and be traceable.  For these reasons, if you have the budget, you should make sure you have your CD Audio master created by a credible professional, then once it gets to us, we can give you a perfect and highly professional end product.

CD Audio Master on a Tight Budget:

If you are on a limited budget, and need to do the mastering yourself, you can get some good results from many consumer and prosumer audio programs.  Please note that if you need less than 500 units, then it is most cost effective to duplicate or burn your CDs.  When you burn your CDs, there is no credible way to secure a proper table of contents so you will not always see your CD Text on players.  You can, however, embed ISRC codes onto a burned or Duplicated CD.  So there is a tradeoff.  We always suggest that your provide a CD-R of your master as this is the most accurate way to ensure that your tracks are correct and there are no surprises.  If you ask us to create the master for you by electronically delivering the tracks, we would be happy to do this, however, we do charge $150 for this service and would then need to send you a hard copy to listen to to make sure you disc meets all of your expectations.

How to Submit your Data or CD-ROM Master

For most data and software applications, we always suggest sending us a fully functional, reviewed and approved master.  We do not recommend you sending the date electronically as there are many problematic circumstances that can arise from this method. i.e. auto-executables do not work or point properly, data can become corrupt, etc.  So for this reason, with the exception of very simple data applications, i.e. putting a few pdfs or files or folders on the root of the disc, you should always deliver a fully functional and approved CD-R.  If you are just delivering a few data files, we can construct this master for you for a $150 fee, which we will then send back to you for your approval.
